Does your spiritual grass ever get a little dry? Mine does…sometimes my grass is more like hay – but I want my grass to be some San Augustine; pretty, green, sift, no stickers.

Do you know what helps your grass stay healthy and pretty and soft? Water. Fertilizer. Weedkiller.

Water your grass. Open up your Bible and give your spirit something to drink, let your spirit S O A K in the words of God.

Plant your roots somewhere with plenty of nutrients and cover yourself in fertilizer. Surround yourself with people who help F E E D your spirit.

Kill your weeds. Talk to God. Pray. You have some weeds that are hindering your spiritual growth? Break out the week killer – P R A Y. Pray that God will remove the weeds out of your life. Just like weed killer – it may take a few rounds – but weed killer work; and so does prayer.

Lord help our spirit grow, help us to nourish our spirit, and to surround ourselves with those who are eager to grow as well.
