Do you ever get ahead of yourself? You want something S O badly that you can barely function? You feel empty without it. You dream about it, you pray about it, you cry about it, you scream about it, but you don’t have it. .

S T O P stressing. I know that seems impossible, and it’s easier said than done. Trust me. I know, it’s hard. My Pawpaw told me something one time that I try to remember when I struggle.

“God will answer all of your prayers. You may not get the answer you want. He may say no. He may say yes. He may say not yet.”

That’s a start. God answered our prayer. We are still hurting, so obviously he either said No or Not yet. That’s rough because we want it N O W. We need to be patient. We need to know that God knows what he’s doing. He is God, we are N O T. He knows what he put us on Earth to do. He knows when he wants us to do it.

Lord, instill in us a patient demeanor. Help us to trust that you have our best interests in mind. Thank you for looking out for us, and for hearing and answering our prayers.
